- One of my very best friends in the entire world was deployed for Iraq about half a year ago. I am constantly writting him letters and sending him items. I always assumed he appreciated it, but being a typical male he never really showed his emotion about it. Last week I was having a rough day and when I checked the mail I had a 4 page letter from him saying thank you and how much he appreciated me. It was the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me.
