  • I'm grateful for the companionship of my pets. The other day I was not feeling well and my four cats laid down by me on my bed. The house was cold and they were warm and comforting. I don't value them more than I do my human companions but they are very special and an endless source of amusement. #23 — Comments (0) — 12/12/2009 at 12:04 AM — Miscellaneous — Thumbs up! • Tonite, I am greatful for a slow kitchen clock that caused me to leave home a few minutes late for an appointment. A horrible car accident happened just a moment or two ahead of me arriving at my exit ramp. If my clock had been running correctly, it could have been my daughter & I in the accident! #26 — Comments (0) — 12/14/2009 at 11:46 PM — Health — Thumbs up! (4) — Thumbs Down (0)
  • I'm grateful that I can still see! I almost went blind because of diabetes, but after maxing out the laser eye surgery I can still see. (for now) but it allows me everyday to appreciate seeing my children grow up and to appreciated my wife's beauty. #41 — Comments (2) — 4/13/2010 at 9:25 AM — Health — Thumbs up! (2) — Thumbs Down (1)
  • I am very grateful for being able to be in my sons life and being able to watch him grow up. He amazes me everyday with something new that I never thought that he could do. Toddlers do that alot. #24 — Comments (0) — 12/12/2009 at 3:43 PM — Relationships — Thumbs up! (5) — Thumbs Down (0)
  • I am grateful for my lovely wife and my two children who keep me young. I always pray for their health and hope they are safe when i go to work. As a soldier i am away from home a lot and my family misses me for long periods of 3 to 6 months a year that i am on active duty. I have a great family and want to keep them safe and keep my country safe as well. I hope the wars will end soon so i can come back and spend all my time away from harm with my family. #4 — Comments (0) — 12/7/2009 at 1:21 PM — Family — Thumbs up! (5) — Thumbs Down (0)
  • One of my very best friends in the entire world was deployed for Iraq about half a year ago. I am constantly writting him letters and sending him items. I always assumed he appreciated it, but being a typical male he never really showed his emotion about it. Last week I was having a rough day and when I checked the mail I had a 4 page letter from him saying thank you and how much he appreciated me. It was the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me. So I am thankful for our soldiers overseas and how even when they are miles away they somehow still manage to brighten up a gloomy day. #25 — Comments (0) — 12/14/2009 at 2:25 AM — Miscellaneous — Thumbs up! • More than anything, I am grateful that I have a steady job. It is not enough to make ends meet, but rather than bemoaning my financial woes as I search for a second job, I am glad that I have one to even start with because I know that there are a lot of people here in America that are not so fortunate as to even have that. #17 — Comments (0) — 12/7/2009 at 7:15 PM — Money — Thumbs up! • I am glad that after being unemployed for almost a year, I have an awesome job with awesome coworkers. And now I finally have the money to take care of myself and the kids... and pay for the divorce (forgot how to do an angry face) :( doesn't cut it. #43 — Comments (2) — 4/18/2010 at 11:30 PM — Family — Thumbs up! • I am grateful for the man I married. He has been there for me no matter what. We met the week I was released from a mental health facility and ever since, he has been at my side. He has kept me sane and happy for over 5 years now. We have had many challenges over the past five years, yet he doesn't complain or question our life and choices. Now that I am having some health issues, he has never berated me for not working or for having days where I can't do the housework. He is the best man in the world and I appreciate him more every day! #8 — Comments (1) — 12/7/2009 at 1:31 PM — Relationships — Thumbs up! (3) — Thumbs Down (0)
  • I am really pleased that the Endoscopy clinic did not cancel my appointment for this coming Thursday. Our very naughty African Grey parrot took out the home phone answering machine and I missed returning the confirmation deadline phone message by a day. Luckily the very nice woman at the clinic told me that as far as 'the dog ate my homework' excuses go, this was a good one and I could still go ahead with the scope! I am not that pleased about the procedure but didn't want to pay the $150.00 cancellation fee either! #14 — Comments (888) — 12/7/2009 at 2:05 PM — Health — Thumbs up! (4) — Thumbs Down (1)
