Welcome to Grateful Everyday, a place where you can share the things in life that you are grateful for. Tell the world: what are you grateful for?.
- I am thankful for my job. I was unemployed for 9 months and was losing a little faith but I am just so happy to be working. I never thought I would say that lol. Its really good to get out of the house and have money for once. #21 — Comments (0) — 12/11/2009 at 4:10 PM — Work — Thumbs up! (3) — Thumbs Down (0)
- I'm grateful for the companionship of my pets. The other day I was not feeling well and my four cats laid down by me on my bed. The house was cold and they were warm and comforting. I don't value them more than I do my human companions but they are very special and an endless source of amusement. #23 — Comments (0) — 12/12/2009 at 12:04 AM — Miscellaneous — Thumbs up! - I'm grateful for having a lovely girlfriend. Even if we are currently living far apart, she always takes care of me in a way or another: today I just got a package from her full of sweets along with a love letter! #12 — Comments (0) — 12/7/2009 at 1:54 PM — Relationships — Thumbs up! - I am really pleased that the Endoscopy clinic did not cancel my appointment for this coming Thursday. Our very naughty African Grey parrot took out the home phone answering machine and I missed returning the confirmation deadline phone message by a day. Luckily the very nice woman at the clinic told me that as far as 'the dog ate my homework' excuses go, this was a good one and I could still go ahead with the scope! I am not that pleased about the procedure but didn't want to pay the $150.00 cancellation fee either! #14 — Comments (888) — 12/7/2009 at 2:05 PM — Health — Thumbs up! (4) — Thumbs Down (1)
- More than anything, I am grateful that I have a steady job. It is not enough to make ends meet, but rather than bemoaning my financial woes as I search for a second job, I am glad that I have one to even start with because I know that there are a lot of people here in America that are not so fortunate as to even have that. #17 — Comments (0) — 12/7/2009 at 7:15 PM — Money — Thumbs up! - I am grateful for my lovely wife and my two children who keep me young. I always pray for their health and hope they are safe when i go to work. As a soldier i am away from home a lot and my family misses me for long periods of 3 to 6 months a year that i am on active duty. I have a great family and want to keep them safe and keep my country safe as well. I hope the wars will end soon so i can come back and spend all my time away from harm with my family. #4 — Comments (0) — 12/7/2009 at 1:21 PM — Family — Thumbs up! (5) — Thumbs Down (0)
- my parents moved to Spain a few years ago, and i stayed in Romania.. this year they`re coming home for Christmas. I see them only once or twice a year.. i have no brothers or sisters, so they are all I have. This is what i`m being grateful for this year. The family is the most important thing in life. #9 — Comments (0) — 12/7/2009 at 1:31 PM — Family — Thumbs up! (2) — Thumbs Down (0)
- I am grateful for the man I married. He has been there for me no matter what. We met the week I was released from a mental health facility and ever since, he has been at my side. He has kept me sane and happy for over 5 years now. We have had many challenges over the past five years, yet he doesn't complain or question our life and choices. Now that I am having some health issues, he has never berated me for not working or for having days where I can't do the housework. He is the best man in the world and I appreciate him more every day! #8 — Comments (1) — 12/7/2009 at 1:31 PM — Relationships — Thumbs up! (3) — Thumbs Down (0)
